Sustainability framework

The Sustainable Restaurant Association’s widely respected sustainability framework is built on the three pillars of Sourcing, Society and Environment. Our holistic approach is currently helping over 5,500 foodservice sites achieve success across the 14 Key Areas of foodservice sustainability.


Access to a library of industry resources, from factsheets to policy templates, mean that SRA Members are able to navigate even the greyest areas of sustainability. Topics covered are as wide ranging as: Palm Oil, Sustainable Seafood Sourcing and Waste Management.


Regulars events, from round tables to training workshops, enable Members to network with and learn from other industry leaders. All SRA Members are eligible for the annual Food Made Good Awards, a highlight in the calendar hosted by iconic chef and SRA President Raymond Blanc OBE.


Well trained staff can lead to greater innovation and efficiency, and are an essential component of any hospitality business looking to operate more responsibly. Members are entitled to discounted rates on all of the SRA’s CPD accredited Foodservice Sustainability courses.

The SRA’s searchable directory of vetted Food Made Good Approved Suppliers enables hospitality businesses to source everything from eco-friendly cleaning products to sustainable seafood. Member only offers are regularly featured in our weekly newsletter.
