The idea for the Sustainable Restaurant Association came about, appropriately, over a lunch in 2009.
Our founders, all leading figures in the restaurant and sustainability sectors themselves, felt that busy restaurateurs wanting to improve their sustainability needed a single organisation to turn to for advice on the many subjects sustainability encompasses – a kind of ‘one stop shop’. And so the SRA was born.
