We’ve tried, tested and developed our rating system so that it's fair to as broad a range of restaurants as possible and incorporates flexibility. This includes independents and chains, those at the beginning of their sustainability journey and those who are more advanced. We’ve also tried to cater for the specific needs of restaurants, so those who have to import some goods as well as those who can do everything locally, for example. We're here to help restaurants achieve the very best standards of sustainability...

HOW WE TESTED OUR AUDIT

Thanks to Alimentum (Cambridge), The Zetter (London) and Leon (UK chain), we were also able to test-run our Audit and rating system on different types and sizes of restaurant. As our Accredited Restaurant Directory grows, we may periodically adapt and develop our Audit so it caters for as wide a range of requirements as possible.
