Why join?

Sustainability is about long term success but it’s a complicated subject. Until now there’s been no industry body to provide the consistent guidance and support that restaurants need. We’re here with expert practical advice and tips, forums for discussion, local hubs, up-to-date news and case studies plus discounts and offers from sustainable suppliers. We’re aiming for lots more delicious food and to help make UK restaurants like you, global leaders in sustainability.

How to Become a Restaurant Member

We aim to make our joining process as simple and straightforward as possible. Give us a call, fill in our Membership Registration form online, or meet us in person over a coffee, at your restaurant, or at a Sustainable Restaurant Association Event. To join, you’ll need to sign our sustainability Pledge, commit to our Values and commit to at least three Key Actions from our sustainability Charter of Actions - one from each of our sustainability categories (Sourcing, Environment and Society).

Say “We’re at the table”

You can then say “We’re at the table” with the official Sustainable Restaurant Association Window Sticker, receive our Membership logo for websites and marketing material, and get automatic inclusion in our Members-only Restaurant Directory. We also offer an Account Manager for support and guidance, a Welcome Pack with guides on our 14 topic areas, an annual Year Planner, action-all-areas Stickers and tonnes more info on the Members-only section of our website.
