Two AA rosette award winning Indian restaurant is owned by Brighton locals Alun and Dawn Sperring. Alun and Dawn have a passion for all things that are Indian and in particular it’s wonderful and vibrant cuisine and the menu reflects this with a range of regional authentic dishes backed up by their team of Indian master chefs from Calcutta, Kerala and Kathmandu. Lunch time at The Chilli Pickle is the perfect place to catch up with friends or break up the working day whilst experiencing the beautiful range of authentic Thalis, Masala Dosa and Indian street food snacks, which are ideal for mixing and matching. Dinner is there to be relished from start to finish. You can begin the meal with some nibbles and a glass of IPA (one of the many interesting beers on offer), whilst choosing from the varied and ever changing menu with a strong use of quality local and seasonal produce. Delicious crispy Pakoras, fresh and zingy Pani Puris and Darjeeling Vegetable Momos with Roasted Yellow Tomato Chutney are just a few options to start off your Chilli Pickle experience. Oxtail Madras, Whole Tandoor Baked Seabass, Fiery Sagamatha Lamb Curry or Bengali Vegetable Chop are a small example of the main courses that are on offer.
