The Sustainable Restaurant Association offers a combination of advisory services and accreditation. The Food Made Good programme is based around our widely respected sustainability framework, built on the three pillars of Sourcing, Society and Environment.

Supported by a personal Account Manager you will work through a comprehensive Sustainability Rating. This audit will shed light on opportunity areas and highlight current success.

We’ll be on hand to support your on-going efforts. Score over 50% in the Rating and you’ll be awarded one or more Food Made Good Stars, a badge of honour that can be proudly displayed in your window, on your website or menus.

Helping businesses to achieve their sustainability aims is a continual process. We understand that every business has its own aspirations when it comes to sustainability and that some need a helping hand in the right direction.

The Food Made Good programme exists to help you set, achieve, celebrate and communicate journey year-on-year.

Our consultants will guide you through the Food Made Good Sustainability Rating. Completing this online survey provides your business and the SRA with a holistic view of your business’ performance across 14 key areas of sustainability.

Want an idea of the questions in the survey? Try our Demo Survey – this a only a snippet of the full Member’s survey so your score probably won’t be representative of your business’ sustainability.

We score you across the 14 key areas, benchmark you against similar businesses in the industry and provide you with comprehensive and tailored recommendations for improvement.

Score over 50% in the Rating and you’ll be awarded one or more Food Made Good Stars – a badge of honour that can be proudly displayed in your window, on your website or menus.

Over 50% = One Star ‘Good’

60-69% = Two Stars ‘Excellent’

Over 70% = Three Stars ‘Outstanding’

Your Account Manager will work with you to develop a custom Action Plan, based on the opportunity areas identified in your Rating, which will help record and track improvements year on year.

Sustainability is a journey, if you don’t achieve top marks straight away, we’ll be on hand to help you get to where you’d like to be.

Harry Kodagoda, Operations Director, Anglian Country Inns

“Sourcing is definitely where it started, but putting the pubs at the heart of their communities is a key part of it. The SRA’s rating was a really good way for us to measure ourselves. To achieve Two Stars was brilliant, but it’s also given me a chance to reflect on what more we can do”
