The search for the People’s Favourite Restaurant 2017 is on and you could win the gastronomic trip of a lifetime by helping us find the winner.

We’ve partnered with delicious.magazine to discover those hidden gems that are making meals that really matter; serving delicious dishes that make a difference.

To be in with a chance of winning a trip to Paris with dinner at one the world’s most sustainable restaurants, all you have to do is nominate your favourite place to eat out; be it your local pub, chip shop or Michelin-starred establishment – and tell us how they serve food made good.

The Prize – Two return tickets from London to Paris, Business Premier, on Eurostar’s new e320 train. Relax in the Business Premier Lounge in both cities and experience a menu designed by SRA President and Eurostar Culinary Director, Raymond Blanc OBE. Once in Paris we’ve arranged for the winners to dine at Septime, winners of the Sustainable Restaurant Award at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017. This Michelin-starred restaurant, home to chef Bertrand Grebaut, has an impeccably sourced menu.

It takes a lot for produce to find its way onto the Septime menu, and there is a lot that doesn’t. The menu is comprised of 80% vegetables and beef is positively excluded for environmental reasons. Breton oysters and honey cultivated on the roof of the city’s stock exchange (the honey, not the oysters) sit alongside rare breed pork and chicken that lives for at least six months – three times the average life of a free-range bird in the UK. And every scrap is used.

Septime’s seafood offering is no less thoughtfully sourced. Sardines, hake, horse mackerel and pouting are regulars on the menu and dealing directly with small scale fishermen, Septime pay 20% over market price.
