HOW IT WORKS
The Sustainable Restaurant Association offers a combination of advisory services and certification. The Food Made Good programme is based around our widely respected sustainability framework, built on the three pillars of Sourcing, Society and Environment.
Supported by a personal Account Manager you will work through a comprehensive Sustainability Rating. This audit will shed light on opportunity areas and highlight current success.
We’ll be on hand to support your on-going efforts. Score over 50% in the Rating and you’ll be awarded one or more Food Made Good Stars, a badge of honour that can be proudly displayed in your window, on your website or menus.
PROCESS & BENEFITS
Helping the businesses we work with to achieve their sustainability aims is a continual process. Our initial audit identifies the strengths and opportunities in your food service operation, before your Account Manager will craft an Action Plan with you that is realistic enough for you to implement real improvements. Every business has its own aspirations when it comes to sustainability, the Food Made Good programme exists to help you achieve and communicate them year-on-year.
The Food Made Good Sustainability Rating shows customers that you’re passionate about serving great quality food in a way that isn’t costing the earth. Remember, diners also understand that sustainability is a journey. If you don’t achieve top marks straight away, we’ll be on hand to help you get to where you’d like to be.
The Food Made Good Sustainability Rating is a 3-Star rating
Over 50% = One Star: Good
60-70% = Two Stars: Excellent
Over 70% = Three Stars: Outstanding
This will give you an idea as to where your business currently lies in terms of its sustainability and also a sneaky peek at some of the questions of our full Member’s survey.
