14 May 2012 by Janine

Sunday lunch – at the source,  27 May, Herons Farm, Coggeshall, Essex

George Blackwell of SRA Approved Supplier The Rare Breed Meat Company is the man behind a new pop-up Sunday lunch event in Essex. ‘Feast Anglia’ will promote the very best East Anglian produce cooked by innovative, talented chefs. Martin Kroon, head chef at SRA Member Butlers Wharf Chop House will be first up, serving a ‘Spring Lamb Lunch’ at Herons Farm, home of The Rare Breed Meat Company. See here for details of the mouthwatering menu on offer, complemented by a Suffolk Bloody Mary bar and Essex pub snacks! And in super-sustainable fashion, there’ll be doggy bags on hand so nothing goes to waste and Monday lunch is sorted!

Kids and babies are welcome. Adults are £40.00 per head,  12-16s £20.00 and the under 12s eat for free, with some of the proceeds going towards raising awareness and screening for Schmallenberg disease.
