As well as our Membership & Sustainability Rating, the Sustainable Restaurant Association also offers specialist consultancy for all scales of business on any and all aspects of sustainability.
From the research stage through to implementation, the SRA assists foodservice businesses in meeting their sustainability goals. Our audits and assessments are tailored to your individual operations and draw on our expertise across all aspects of the hospitality industry.
Among the projects we have undertaken are food waste audits for clients including Imperial College and Somerset House. Most recently, we conducted a food waste audit at multiple sites for one of the UK’s largest restaurant groups. We have also partnered Unilever Food Solutions in designing and delivering a unique toolkit to help restaurants take action to reduce their food waste. Currently, we are undertaking a project in Malaysia which will see us providing consultation on how partners in Kuala Lumpur can tackle their food waste issue.
In addition to food waste, the SRA provides consultancy services that range from single-issue projects, such as energy usage, supply chain or staff training, to large scale assessments. In development currently are comprehensive sustainability assessments of catering operations for major transportation providers in the fields of aviation and train travel.
