Together with the Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS) we have created a new online sustainability training programme for mobile and event caterers and their staff.
The programme will help traders get up to speed across a range of ten key sustainability areas including sourcing, menu planning, environmental best practice and fair treatment of staff, helping this growing sector match its customers’ values. The course is accredited by City & Guilds and is both accessible and affordable to meet the needs of all traders as well as satisfy festival organisers and sports venues looking to improve their sustainable offering.
The training costs £50 for SRA or NCASS members, £95 for non-members and takes two hours to complete. Participants must then successfully complete a test before receiving a certificate that can be displayed in their unit.
